Affordable food and drinks. But Gunter, the singer entertaner made our day and trip to Clarens. He's entertaining, charismatic and has a fabulous voice. His interaction with customers pure magic. Loved and thoroughly enjoyed the hours we spent here. Highly recommended.

Nice atmosphere. Live music. Dog friendly. Good place to have a drink. We had the roosterkoek and marrow bones for starters - it was amazing. Then we had burgers (beef and pulled pork) for mains which was disappointing. Processed beef patties - would have been much better if it was home made beef patties, like their home made baked roosterkoek. Pulled pork was more sauce than meat. Buns are not toasted, so difficult to keep the burger intact as you eat. Overall a nice restaurant. Just not a great burger experience.

Had the best service at any restaurant in Clarens. (And we've been to many) The food was also top notch. What a great spot for dinner, the view is also great.

Pub style food and vibey atmosphere. The beef burgers were great and the home made cider was just delicious

What an amazing experience. The Manager Isiah, the waiters, Ernest, Ayna, Dolly and Lucy makes the experience even more memorable. The atmosphere and seating arrangements are excellent. The food, oh wow, from suppers to breakfast is amazing, the food captures a real taste of traditional South African food. Well done, we are repeat customers. Thank you

I phoned to find out if you are child friendly and you said yes. Well that is so true we were there with a very busy todler and every member of your staff were fantastic. They talked and laughed with him although you were so busy. I really appreciate and was very impressed with excellent service alround. This morning we tried Artist Cafe and what a total pathetic experience it was. We walked out after waiting 20 minutes without a waiter even acknowledging us. We came back right here and again superb service. Drinks and kiddie food out in a dash. Thank you to you the management and your fantastic staff. You will be our no 1 place in Clarens. I would give you 10 stars if I could.

The Best Service ever and such friendly staff and the menu offers variety and affordability!!!

Lovely afternoon there on the patio at the back. The staff were all very friendly and our 2 fur babies were immediately each brought their own water bowls. The beers were great as were the ciders which were beautifully served with fresh berries. We travel with a Beer Passport and besides the free beer that I received the owner then came and counted how many stamps I had in the Beer Passport and then said I qualified for another free beer due to the amount of pubs I’ve visited. We’ll definitely be back there.
